- Rokko RFC is an amateur rugby club team which belongs to the “Club” category in Japan. The member have their own jobs and play rugby most weekends. *Please refer to the recruitment page on our HP for the structure and the major category of the Japanese rugby teams. (About Japanese Rugby)
- Rokko RFC does not have a job-placement and will not support you to obtain visas and residency in Japan. If you have opportunities to reside in Japan, then we are happy to welcome you to our Rokko RFC.
About Japanese Rugby
The major category of the Japanese teams and the rugby leagues are divided to Company, Club and University.
The top level of company teams are belonging to the name "Top League" and these teams are owned by the company and the players are either employee or the professional contract.
The "Club" in Japan are amateur teams and the players have their own job playing rugby mostly every week end.
Our Rokko Club belongs to this category.
The University are as well as amateur teams.
Rokko Rugby Football Club offers the chance to be part of a typical rugby club in Japan.
Rokko RFC is located in Kobe Japan and a tradition of excellence for 40 years.
A club history that includes Three Championships in a All Japan Club Rugby Tournament , top of over one thousand rugby clubs in Japan.
The club champion could participate All Japan Rugby Tournament with company and university top teams and Rokko RFC is the most closed to participate the tournament from Kansai area.
Also Rokko RFC has been officially registered as Nonprofit Organization (NPO) in Hyogo prefecture from 2003.
Rokko RFC welcomes new members to build our future, whether experienced or new to the game, you will find that Rokko RFC can help you enjoy the game of rugby at all levels whether you want to play on our competitive first team or a developmental 2nd team.
